About Drews Optical

For 50 years, Drews Optical has specialized in manufacturing high-quality custom precision flat optics and commercial flat optics for demanding applications.

Our capabilities have included windows, mirrors, wedges, beam-splitters and test plates, with production ranging from prototypes through volume manufacturing. Large continuous polishers have enabled Drews Optical to produce flat optics up to 24 inches in diameter while maintaining the tight tolerances required by the precision optics industry.

The machinery offered on this website comes directly from that production environment and includes specialized polishers, grinders, centering equipment, surface grinding, milling and optical testing equipment.
